Also, saw the Maysles brother’s ‘Gimme Shelter’ at the AGNSW on the weekend.
This film is incredible! So Dark. Really depressing and down. Slow and detailed. It says a lot without speaking much, like all Maysles films. But this time with more involved (involved?! Still so minimal) editing and therefore editorial input.
Whoo. It’s so heavy. Four people died at this festival, not to mention 60’s love and peace. It shows that famous stabbing. I guess most people have seen it, but here’s a recap.
