Just Heaps Surprised To Be Alive
Garry Trinh
Just Heaps Surprised to be Alive illustrates Trinh's idiosyncratic and humourous approach to photography. With an anti-style aesthetic, what may seem at first glance banal often reveals an extraordinary event or occurrence. Miracles are revealed to Trinh's camera every day and in capturing these he relays these phenomena to us. Garry Trinh's photographs have been published in ANP Quarterly, Runway, and Peter Sutherland's Smoke Bath and have been exhibited at the Australian Centre for Photography, China Heights, 4A, The New York Photo Festival (curated by Tim Barber) and The Tiny Vices touring exhibition.
